Capitals started a goal adrift from the first leg in this British KO Cup game and they were given an early chance when Vipers were penalised just 6 seconds into the game but the home side failed to take advantage. At 6.31 Vipers player coach Rob Wilson fired his side ahead with former Capitals Jeff Hutchins supplying the assist to put the Vipers 6-4 up on aggregate.
