NHL coaching legend Scotty Bowman will be talking to the kids that are attending the Edinburgh Capitals hockey school being held at Murrayfield Ice Rink next week. Bowman is visiting Scotland and will be driving around in a Cadillac BLS provided by Stratstone Cadillac, Corvette and Hummer in a sponsorship deal that was brokered by Scott Neil of the Edinburgh Capitals.

The Edinburgh Capitals are offering companies the opportunity to support their developing Community Outreach program through an exciting new 'Adopt a school' project.
The programme is continuing to grow, and we are always looking to add more schools and youth groups, as well as companies to sponsor them.

The Edinburgh Capitals are currently inviting applications for internships for the 08/09 season. Completing a placement with the Edinburgh Capitals provides students with a behind the scenes look in a professional hockey league setting and is a valuable experience to supplement course content within a variety of programs. Most importantly, it holds the possibility of becoming a stepping stone into the sports industry.

Once again the Capitals are pleased to be able to offer fans the chance to sponsor a players shirt for the season which will then be presented to them at the end of the season.
This season players shirts will be available as soon as a signing is announced. Shirts will be available to sponsor by purchasing from the Capitals online shop. This season shirts will remain at £150 and immediate payment is required using Paypal.

Shawn Germain to patrol the blue line

The Edinburgh Capitals are pleased to announce the signing of defender Shawn Germain. Germain played his last two seasons with the Reading Royals of the ECHL and earned a call-up to the Hershey Bears of the AHL. Shawn won Reading's Defensive Player of the Year awards in each season he was with the club. In addition, he won the Community Service Award in 2006-2007.

Stefishen back for more

The Edinburgh Capitals are thrilled to announce the return of fan favorite Adam Stefishen. Stefishen enjoyed his best season as a professional totaling career highs in goals, points, and penalty minutes. He led the team in penalty minutes. Adam played both defense and forward for the Capitals and was a big part of the teams success.
